Who we are
Goa Association of Realtors (GAR) is a non-profit association started in Goa in 2014, with registration granted in 2015, by competent professionals who were and are principally real estate consulting agents and companies based in Goa. Membership grows steadily, and most members serve corporates and individuals in commercial and residential lease, rental and sale.
GAR and its members aim to be honest and transparent when dealing with their clients and with fellow members. Every member is bound by, and must strictly adhere to, the Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice.
GAR is associated with NAR-India (National Association of Realtors). Members automatically become members of NAR-India.
Why GAR exists
Across the globe, real estate is an organised sector with a professional approach — but in India the sector is yet to be professionally streamlined. NAR-India and GAR have taken steps towards self-regulation and endeavour to be the representative body of realtors.
Since 2015, GAR has worked for the growth of Goa's and India's real estate market. It offers its members a host of advantages, makes sure all members follow the same guidelines, and builds a network among them for an ethical, better and brighter business culture.
